Thanks for the shout-out Christine! Everyone, go check out Chance when you can, it’s a really beautiful pop-up shop (that doesn’t seem at all like a pop-up shop).
THE WORLD SPEEDS UP. CHANCE SLOWS DOWN
Last week was all about the Art, ART, art, and more Art. This weekend let us all start looking forward to embrace summer!!! One sure fire way to get into the spirit is with some stripes: nautical, patriotic, time honored style. Run on over to my favorite new nolita shop: CHANCE. I first learned about it because two friendly creative souls sell their wares amongst the classic garb at Chance. Kate Jones of Ursa Major and Allison Kave of First Prize Pies are each inspiring female entrepreneurs rocking nyc. Kate’s covetable necklaces and bracelets are the perfect accessory to complement your superb stripe-y laid back vibe. Need one say more than Pie? (I will, so check back in to this blog for a detailed description of how yummy Allison’s pies are) Trust me - go see for yourself by visiting the Chance website and shopping at the store. For Mother’s Day I picked up a vibrant ruby red Turkish towel for my mom - we had a picnic on it at Storm King, but I know she will also use it at the beach or as a shawl during sunset cocktails. Chance also has the very most wonderful beach tote bag; a pair of pajamas that are perfectly made for nantucket breakfasts; espadrilles for sauntering down to the surf at high tide, and did I mention: Pie??? Run run run to Chance and realize how lucky we are to have summer days approaching
